Episode Overview:
When Polly got divorced, she bundled up her daughter Natalie and moved back in with her eccentric parents, Elaine and Max. A year later, and Polly’s coming to terms with the fact that she’s a grown woman who lives at home with her parents… though the conservative Polly will probably never come to terms with her laid-back parents’ permissiveness. She also has to deal with the fact that Julian, her irresponsible ex-husband, keeps finding reasons to show up – and still calls Max “Dad,” even though Max can’t stand him. On the work front, Polly’s college friend, Gregg, is also her boss. When she bemoans the lack of romance in her life, Gregg and co-worker Jenna, a party girl, set her up on a date… and Polly has to trust her parents to babysit for the first time. The evening turns into a disaster involving bath time, alcohol and prescription drugs, and an unreasoning fear of dogs. But with her entire family around her, things will always work out for the best… even when they don’t.
